Tour departure around 10:00 am
Arrival in Fiumaretta / Bocca di Magra (border between the region of Tuscany and the region of Liguria) by private transfer from the hotel.
We will start with a moderate navigation heading straight for Cinque Terre to admire the view of the five fishermen's villages cleverly built on the surrounding nature, declared World Heritage Sites by Unesco since 1997. This small paradise of brightly-coloured houses and villages suspended on rocky cliffs overlooking a sea of crystal-clear waters is part of a Protected Marine Area that does not allow navigation nearshore
After a short break, the boat will return to the Gulf of Poets, so called because in past centuries these marvellous medieval villages were a source of inspiration for poets, novelists, painters, journalists such as Byron, Percy and Mary Shelley, Virginia Wolf....
then we will reach Portovenere, the boat will stop in front of the oldest and most spectacular part of the village, the splendid Church of San Pietro, built in the 13th century.
Moored within the gulf, the guests will have the opportunity to disembark on Palmaria Island for a typical lunch (optional) and/or in Portovenere for a stroll through the picturesque streets of the village.
On the way back, we will pass through the archipelago formed by the islands of Palmaria, Tino and Tinetto; these islands are part of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
As the last stop of the day, the boat will pass through Lerici, a medieval village dominated by the castle of San Giorgio.
During the navigation, there will be stops for swimming, a dip in the sea or simply to relax and sunbathe
Return to the Port of Departure and disembarkation is expected around 17:00 pm.
