This intimate room with its large fireplace in wood and stone looks into the courtyard and is bordered by the ancient stone-paved road once travelled by the King on his way to the Aghinolfi Castle -since the 12th century protected and now a precious moss-clothed element of the Bottaccio garden.

The linens, as in all the rooms are made of the finest Egyptian cotton – the bedclothes hand spun silks, and the draperies like rare brocades.
