A unique and immersive experience in the historical center of Pietrasanta. The relational artist Paola Michela Mineo will welcome you to her studio in the heart of the town and she tell you the story of this magical place. An ancient marble workshop where the most important stone’s monuments in the world were realized. Now her studio shared with her partner, the Danish sculptor Misja Rasmussen. You will be introduced to the artistic technique of human plaster casts and after this short lesson you will start to create your own cast.

This performative workshop will reveal you how “touching art” can be an excellent tool to relate to oneself through the concept that beauty lives in every person and to return to interacting with others through the human contact.

Guided by the artist, you will have the suggestive experience of creating your own three-dimensional selfportrait and then interacting with your partner or the group and the artist. In this session you can choose between the face, the hand or the foot.

The session is about 2.5 hours and before to take “your” masterpiece home, you can visit the sculpture garden and the studio.
